Flagstaff Event Darren Choate Photography featured at The Mix in the Old Town Shops, during the February, First Friday Art Walk Flagstaff Event- This February, I will be presenting my photography at The Mix in the Old Town Shops in Flagstaff, Arizona. Aldo Leopold and Me Growing up in Springerville, Arizona allowed me to hunt, fish, and explore the Apache National Forest extensively. Later, in college, I found out that my hero, Aldo Leopold, the “father of wildlife management” worked on that same forest. I can’t tell you or even remember all of the childhood memories that I compiled in the area, and still continue to compile as an adult with my children. Ranch Book, A Celebration of Babbitt Ranches 125 Years Timeless Expressions Babbitt Ranch Book – After photographing Babbitt Ranch for about a year and a half, I have released a photo book titled, Timeless Expressions.
